Does Having A 91 In A Class Affect My Chances Of Being In A Top College?
Answered

Hello everyone! So I'm currently taking Intermediate Algebra/ College Algebra for my freshman year as I've skipped both Algebra 1 and Geometry. Besides this 91, I am in all honors and Chemistry as well, and next semester, I plan on taking AP physics :).

While I do enjoy the class, our teacher isn't very good at explaining, among other things. Therefore, is why I have a 91, will this affect my chances at a college like Stanford?

Thank you very much !!

I would say that, as long as it stays an A, you should be fine. Please don't stress too much about getting low A's as I'm pretty sure that on some applications those kinds of specifics aren't even specified. You will do great things!

Honestly, a 91 after skipping two classes is very impressive. And while colleges do focus on your grades, they focus on them in relation to your class weight. So a 91 in algebra is not as impressive as a 91 in college algebra, which is what you have. So you should be set! Good luck!
