Extracurriculars for Mech Engineering
Answered

I'm a sophomore in high school looking to study Mechanical Engineering once I go on to college. As far as academics go I believe I'm all good but my extracurriculars are lacking. I do a fair bit of CAD design and 3D printing for basic things around my house, but other than that there's not much else that I do. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

It’s great that you’re already into CAD design and 3D printing! To boost your extracurriculars, consider joining or starting a robotics club, participating in engineering competitions, or working on personal projects like building a small robot or a Rube Goldberg machine. These activities can showcase your unique passion and skills in Mechanical Engineering. But, I will strongly suggest for an Internship.

You should also consider doing an internship or passion project utilizing your skills. I know colleges would really like to see that you also help out your community.
