Grade scale for international students

Hi, I'm currently an international student and i plan to apply to the NYU. As long as i know, the GPA acceptance rate for NYU is between 3.50 - 3.74. However, at my school, the grading range system is between 0 to 100. My current GPA is around 89-90 and it is considerably high in my country standard. Beside my extracurriculars, essay, and recommendation letters, does that enough to meet the NYU requirements? Should i apply for test optional?

Hi there! With your current GPA that converts to about a 3.6-3.7 in the USA. With that being said it easily puts you in the GPA acceptance rate range for NYU. So I would say you have nothing to worry about with that! However, NYU in general is a very very competitive school. My best recommendation would be to apply test optional unless you are in a very high percentile for your test scores/have a close to perfect score. I hope this was able to help!
