hi!! i'm currently a junior and idk if i've done enough outside of school and in school activities. my dream college rn is ut austin and i hope to major somewhere in the medical field, maybe nursing? please help me out!
what ive done:
1. i have over 150 volunteer hours at methodist hospital (i have 200 volunteer hours in total though)
2. im currently hosa president and last year placed second at regionals and fourth at states
3. i won this award called the barbara james award for doing more than 100+ volunteer hours that let me go to hosa 2024 internationals
4. im cpr/first aid/ aed certified through red cross
5. i just joined the nhs club at my school
6. im currently conducting vaccine research at my school and plan to enter my research at my cities science fair
7. im currently taking these biomedical pltw classes that i think ill get a certification from?
8. through my school ive signed up to complete my certified medical assistant certification, i havent started but my name is somewhere there
what i want to do:
1. apply for college board ap scholar, if i pass my next two ap tests ill be able to qualify for it
2. i hope to find an internship during the 2025 summer doing research on idk what
3. im trying to convince my teacher to let me shadow his fiance who is a radiologist during my winter break
ive also been trying to find any online websites were i can translate spanish to english, as its my first language! kind of like a volunteering gig if you guys know of a good website like this please let me know!
and please give me advice on what else i should do during my junior year thank you :)
