Prepscholars “chancing” is horrendous as it just uses GPA and test scores and I’d guesstimate that 90% of all public and well known private schools are test optional. So it’s not all accurate it’s only use is to compare your GPA to the average but the common data set is so much better for that. Edit:spelling

Please refer to comment for my thoughts on the “calculator” but in a word it uses unweighted with the notable exception of the UCs (University of California System UCLA UC Berkeley UC Davis UC Riverside etc) where you should calculate your A-G gpa and use that instead.
