I submitted my essay for peer review, but now I'm worried about plagiarism Answered
How often does plagiarism happen on this site? Would it be likely that someone else would steal my essay?

Honestly, I think the honor system is pretty effective however there are still protections in place to prevent this. For example, I was peer editing and wanted to mention a quote from their piece in my commentary but the website won't let you copy anything from the submission. If someone wanted to plagiarize they'd have to type it out themselves and I'm sure their plagiarism would become apparent when compared to their other supplementals/ Personal statement.

I would think that although that could be an issue that this is a reliable sight that people only use for, help, and not for the malpractice of the website
