I'm pansexual and was wondering if colleges ask for sexuality on applications, and if this would impact me negatively in college admissions process?
I believe there's now a spot on the Common App for applicants to go into more detail on gender identity if they're trans, non-binary, etc., but no there's nothing that asks for your sexual orientation.
And in general, it wouldn't impact you negatively, and having a non-normative gender identity wouldn't have a negative impact either. Most colleges actually want the most diverse classes they can construct, so in some cases it could actually be a small boost.
from what i’ve seen, no they don’t. and i highly doubt it will affect your application. if it did, that would be discrimination, which is very bad.

yes it would... well i shouldn't apply to libertyU but i think elsewhere is fine
