What should an international student do for extra curriculars?

There are very less opportunities for extracurricular activities in our country because we get into collages based on academics here. What should I do?

Hi, first of all it’s kind of a similar case for me. But something that u need to understand is that colleges don’t need u compete along the entire globe, they simply desire to know if u can take advantage of the opportunities that are available to u. Find online opportunities or courses and learn something different. Just try to do the best u can with ur resources. I don’t think they expect u to go across the globe to look for opportunities : )

If you're in your senior year it may be too late to do an extracurricular. However, "extracurricular" doesn't just mean clubs, so you can also bring up family responsibilities, meaningful hobbies, volunteering, and work experience as extracurriculars.

Hey same here by the way which country you’re from anyways colleges will view you in the context of your region and if there is a lack of extracurriculars jus do whatever is available and try to challenge your self beyond high school you can participate in various international competitions, olympiads, start your own business or non profit, conduct research with a professor, go for summer programmes in top universities either in the US or in your own country, start learning an instrument or pursue art outside school or you may even learn a new language online. There are plenty of opportunities you just need to go grab them. If you can’t find any jus create then on your own all you can start a club at school if there isn’t one.
