Admissions Advice

My school reports grades as A, A-,B+, B, B- etc (no A+) Does it look bad to have majority "A" but a few "A-". ?

So what is your overall unweighted GPA right now? and your weighted GPA? that will put some context to the whole question.

That’s a good enough gpa. Secondly, u must have put in a lot of efforts to score so just be confident in ur abilities. Ivies generally consider all the aspects of an application and not just the grades, so make sure u have some good Ecs to go along this score.

we do not weight. It is a 3.9 UW, with many AP classes. My concern is that A- is not considered as strong as an A (but at schools that do not report minus or plus, an A is an A whether if it's a 92 or a 96)

It will hardly make a dent having like 5 As and 1 A-. You may feel unsatisfied but unless your applying to a math major with that A- in math, it will hardly make a difference.
