Admissions Advice

I could not give my SAT exam due to pandemic. Will it affect my college application. Should SAT 2 Exam help?

I am a high school student. Will be going for my under grad in 2021. I had registered for my SAT 1 exam two times but it got cancelled. Now I have to concentrate on my Year 13 exam to get good score for the university. If I don't have SAT score will it affect my college application? Should I give SAT 2 subject test? I have got good extra curriculars. Will that help?

Hello! From what I have been informed SAT/ACT test scores are becoming optional. So if you are applying to colleges in the US then you should be fine! Many no longer require those scores.

Assuming the school you are applying to is test optional a SAT isn’t needed and less and less schools are accepting or even looking at SAT 2 scores. So SAT 2 will not help much if at all but no SAT is perfectly fine.

Hope this helps and please comment if you need clarification as I’d be happy to help clarify!
