Chancing Tool since 2020 SAT scoring
Answered

Have the recommendations provided by the Chancing Tool been updated in light of the CollegeVine recommendations given for SAT test submissions based on COVID impacts? For instance, it was recommended (in September) that SAT scores should be submitted if they fall within 60 points of the 25th percentile. Has this adjustment been applied to the Chancing tool recommendations?

The chancing tool has not been updated to reflect the 60 pts (SAT) or 3pts (ACT) adjustment for submitting scores.

My chancing profile outputs have stayed the same since the tool was updated sometime over the summer.

Good luck.
