Am I at a disadvantage?

Hi,

So I've decided I'll like to pursue CS&PSYCH if possible. I don't have ECs in this area because 1) I never had opportunities to explore these areas 2) I was, until this admission process, very conflicted as to what I wanted to study. My question is, will I be at a disadvantage? I take mostly science courses(I'm an international so no APs etc.), and data processing courses. Asides a few online courses and readings, I have no experience in CS or Psych. I'm also applying to only 2 STEM focused schools, the rest are liberal arts.

Ps: I've submitted most of my apps but I'm just curious.

Hi! I just want to reassure you that even with no "experience" you can still get into a good college, as long as you have some other good EC's(non-related to psych). Honestly, this might put you at a small disadvantage, say to another person applying with a decent amount of psych-related EC's, but I wouldn't worry. Good luck on your journey!!

Hello Em, You asked "If you were at a disadvantage?"

I'm here to help you by answering your question. I don't think that you're at a disadvantage because you don't have the EC's or the experience in CS or Psych (psychology, I assume.)
