Does being born in a different country become a positive or negative thing when colleges are reviewing my application?
Answered

I am a junior in high school and was born in South Africa. I moved to the US with my family and became a US citizen a couple years ago. I was wondering how me being a foreigner affects my application. Is it something that colleges don't even notice?

I'd say it would benefit your application but very little.
