if I remember correctly on YouTube Collegevine has a video with some tips for the Cornell essay. Also depending on the word count you can essentially write a compare and contrast essay or just kinda write what your searching for and how that rules out other schools.

Some topics to include might be the collegetown aspect (Harvard in Boston etc) specific programs only at Cornell reputation of the univ like diversity. To rephrase the question why did you pick Cornell over other ivy caliber schools. If you have any personal relations to Cornell.

Also any statistics that you cite would be a good thing.

Wait, do you mean that we should cite statistics in the Why Cornell essay? Also, I'm confused if one should include statistical information in a Why us essay.

So the reason I say to cite at least one is to kinda say I love Cornell so much I know this fact. And x fact shows that Cornell is awesome. Ease it’s a roundabout way of saying I’m super interested in Cornell. Like a lot of people talk about job opportunities after college so if you cite a stat you show that you interested as you personalized it along with showing why you like Cornell besides “jobs”
