Admissions Advice

Is waiting for decisions the worst part?

So, I’ve applied to 14 schools already (before the Nov. 1 deadline) with five RD applications left to go. While I’m happy that I was able to turn in all of the applications with time to spare, I’m still stressing over the thirty-some-odd days I have left to wait for my early action schools and early decision school to get back to me.

Does anyone have any tips for making this time go by a bit faster, or suggestions for how to avoid thinking about it so much?

I think you should just chill out. Calm down, knowing you have given the admission process your best. It is okay to be anxious, after all, college acceptance determines a lot. But still, chill. Play with friends and take your mind off by doing things you love.

All the best!

If you feel stressed out, maybe doing some of your favorite activities can help you to cool down. Everyone has their own pace to reach their ultimate goal. I have a goal I want to reach and I cannot reach that goal unless I take my time and do it at the time I need to. It is not the end of the world. Like the saying goes, "Slow and steady, wins the race."

I hope I helped.
