Hi, does anyone have an idea of what glue words are?

Glue words are short words that play an essential role in holding the sentence together. Some examples of glue words include in, the, to, and that. If you get rid of glue words the gist of the sentence is there but it wouldn't be very coherent. Try not to use too many glue words either, as too many will cloud up your sentence and will result in the sentence being less concise.
