Admissions Advice

Is it possible to transfer to a school like Vanderbilt or Tulane from an out of state community college?

I had a 2.8 gpa in highschool and now have a 3.8 gpa and 27 credit hours at Anne Arundel community college. What does that do for my admission chances?

You have a good chance of being accepted since Tulane's transfer acceptance rate is 38% and Vanderbilts is 25%. These are about 1/2 as hard compared to getting into them out of high school. 18% for Tulane and 10% for Vandy.

Good luck.
