You have 30 words to describe an item that has something to do with your community or yourself?

This is not a trick question. The colleges are looking for an answer to get to know you better.

If you are a member of an indigenous population like Inuit or an Aboriginal person, you might bring a sculpture made of soapstone or a digeridoo.

Does that make sense?

If you are from the Bronx NY perhaps you'll bring a New York Yankees Pennant to hang up in your dorm room.

If you are from Tokyo, Japan maybe you'll bring a giant poster of the Manga, "Alice in Borderland"

If you are from Siena, Italy maybe you'll bring a Palio flag from the famous horse races around the town square.

So think of something that your town or province is famous for that you can proudly display in your dorm room and share with people visiting you and your classmates.

Good luck.
