i got and internship at the US department of treasury its unpaid but it being at the federal level would it make it good

It doesn’t matter where you are interned at what matters is your responsibilities as in are you helping out with professional stuff or do you just run papers from desk a to desk b. What your internship responsibilities are is the main thing that matters the other main factor is how did you get said internship.

If you got it through a competitive process like through an essay competition then it’s worth more than other equivalent responsibility internships but if you somehow got it due to either paying for it or for lack of a better term nepotism it’s worth less.

More likely than not an internship at a federal level is likely to be competitive and with some significant responsibilities so it’s worth more than a normal internship but instead of dosing it at the treasury you did it at Coca Cola it doesn’t really change anything so hope that makes sense.
