I was deferred from a top choice school, what do I do now?

So I applied to Chapman as an Early Action Applicant in October and got my decision of deferral last week. My GPA before was a 3.39 (W), but with the mid year report now in place a 3.47 (W). How can I really demonstrate that Chapman is the fit for me? Quick Stats as of Dec 2020: No SAT or ACT, 4 AP Exams, 4 AP Classes in progress, 4 Honors Classes overall.

Being deferred is not the end of the world so good job! I reccomend taking a look at this article: https://www.ivywise.com/ivywise-knowledgebase/resources/article/what-to-do-if-youve-been-deferred/ to find the next steps and I also reccomend composing a deferral letter!

write them a letter of continued interest (LOCI) that tells them about your increase in GPA, and updates them on new accomplishments/extracurricular pursuits
