Am I going to be rejected over two typos?
Answered

One of them was I wrote "ever" instead of "Never," which made my sentence not start with a capitalized word and also well, it doesn't make much sense. The second mistake was forgetting to put a predicate.

The typos weren't on my google doc though so I might have copied and pasted it wrong somehow. Anyways, I am so glad that the applications that I sent out with the mistake aren't my dream schools but I just want to know, am I still fine if I have only two typos?

If the rest of the essay is a great essay then you have nothing to worry about.

Remember that reviewers read dozens of these each and every day and they only spend less than 10 min. on your whole file so chances are they may not see the typos or just catch 1 or just keep reading and forget about it. It may come up on the 2nd read or not.

But you shouldn't beat yourself up about it.

If you have more schools to apply to do me a favor.

1.) Put your essay through Grammarly

2.) Send your essays to at least 2 to 3 people because they will catch things that you missed no matter how great a writer you are.

Good luck.
