Is it wise to submit current research as a Research Supplement

I’m applying for MIT and am currently working on a guided independent research project through my research course. Could I submit my introduction for the research instead of an abstract since it’s underway, or just not submit it at all because it’s not complete?

I would recommend emailing MIT, but otherwise not submit it unless you actually have a complete research supplement.

Gotcha that’s kind of what I was thinking. I emailed them but because of the deadline they won’t get back to me until after the deadline. Thanks for answering
