I want to major in chemical engineering and I really want to stand out in my elite college apps. I don’t really know of any super good extracurriculars for this major, though.
Extracurricular ideas:
-Science club
-Intern at a laboratory or chemical engineering firm
-Science competitions
-STEM Club
-Science tutor
-Anything else related to maths, physics and chemistry.
Keep in mind: be sure to take part in activities that you are very passionate about. There's no point in doing these activities if you don't at least enjoy them.
Hope this helps.
