Will it look bad if I apply for Economics major but never had Economics as a subject in high school?

I never took economics in my school since there was no option to take that subject if I studied science. I could take that if I switched to humanities. But I have statistics in my course; I was wondering If I apply for Econ, would it be okay?

My course has seven subjects: Math, Chem, Physics, Statistics, English, Language, IT (our school offers a maximum of 7 subjects and there's no option to take more)

Extra: I have some EC's related to Business.

You should be okay, you mentioned that you have EC's related to business which shows interest in your major. Also, taking statistics is good. You can explain the situation in the additional information section of your application.
