Do you want advice on College courses only? or both Highschool and College?

Both would help tremendously.🙂

You can be any major and go onto medical school, as long as you fulfill the required courses. If you're interested in sports med, you could major in Kinesiology or Exercise Science, but it's not necessary. You won't really specialize until your residency, after med school (and you'll get the chance to rotate among different specialties towards the end of med school).

In high school, take the most difficult STEM courses you can. You may find some our pre-med posts helpful on our blog: https://blog.collegevine.com/category/college-admission/pre-med/. We also break the path to becoming a doctor down in this post: https://blog.collegevine.com/path-to-becoming-a-doctor-steps-to-take-from-high-school/

Best of luck!
