Description

Ask current students at Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State about life in the Big 10—academics, campus life, dorm living, athletics, and more!

Colleges across the country have shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are worried about choosing a college without being able to visit in person and get a feel for campus life. In this multi-school Q&A session, we’ll ask our panelists to compare their experiences and explain the differences between life at their schools, with questions about everything ranging from campus life to athletics to the classroom experience. This multi-school panel will give you a look into life at some of the largest universities in the country. Webinar attendees will get to participate in the second half of the Q&A session!

Q&A Participants:

Clifford Stueck is a rising junior at Penn State from New Jersey majoring in Aerospace Engineering with intended minors in Engineering Mechanics and IST. Clifford is a mentor in the Engineering Orientation Network, a member of Engineering Ambassadors, and the Chassis Lead for the Penn State Formula Race Team. He was supposed to intern with Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford Connecticut this summer, but unfortunately his offer was rescinded in light of Covid-19. Clifford enjoys everything Penn State has to offer including the sport programs, opportunities available, and most importantly the people there. Clifford is looking forward to getting back on campus in the fall! #WeAre

Izzy Steinberg is a rising sophomore at the University of Michigan from Rye Brook, New York in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She plans to study Cognitive Science with a Decision and Cognition track. Izzy is a captain for Dance Marathon at UM and is a member of the Organizing Team for Wolverine Support Network. She is also a member of a social sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, hanging out with friends, and finding great restaurants in Ann Arbor.

Tessa Pickering is a rising sophomore at Ohio State majoring in Landscape Architecture and minoring in city and regional planning. Within Ohio State she is a part of Best Buddies, the Club Tennis team, Alpha Rho Chi, and the Student Chapter of Landscape Architects. She is from Grafton, Ohio and chose Ohio State because of the many opportunities and all the fun that comes with being a buckeye!
