high school grades

Hey planning to major in History and applying to Ivy League + T20

the concern I have is that my math grades are too low.

I have maintained a 98+ in all my history classes with a 100 in AP world

95+ in all my English classes with a 98 in AP Seminar

and 87+ in science courses

90+ in foreign language

I got a 79 in trig Honors however, and I am worried that it would put me at a disadvantage.

any thoughts? Thanks

depends a lot on what you’re majoring in and your overall GPA. if it’s really becoming a problem though, i would definitely consider making that a focal point in your essay. colleges love it when you overcome a challenge that’s not exceptionally traumatic. so like if you talk about learning how to study and how pushing yourself academically has made you a better student, it could potentially actually be helpful for admissions. defo helps if this was like two years ago tho and you’ve gotten better grades since.
