Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting
The Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting program offers a wide range of performance training for stage, film and television. The intense, eight- semester curriculum combines immersive performance-based craft and technique training with well-rounded and engaging academic studies. Students are given many opportunities for onstage production and performance experience throughout the program, which includes an original Capstone Production opportunity in the final semester. Looking ahead to the competitive demands of the performing arts industry, courses in career preparation, networking, audition techniques and creating original content help prepare students for an exciting transition into their professional life.
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film and Television Arts: Acting for Camera
The Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film and Television Arts: Acting for Camera program offers a wide range of training for film, television, stage and new media, with many opportunities for production and performance experience. The specially tailored curriculum includes essential training in scene study, acting for camera, improvisation, stage combat, screenwriting, film studies, and filmmaking and production. As preparation for transitioning from student to professional performing artist, final courses include Industry and Networking, Sample Performance Reels, Audition Preparation, Film Projects and a Capstone Production blending live stage and on-camera performances. This BFA Degree program helps prepare students to launch their careers as actors and artistic visionaries.
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting (Online)
The Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting (Online) program offers a wide range of performance training for stage, film and television delivered through a digital environment. The intense eight-semester curriculum combines immersive, performance-based acting training with well-rounded and engaging academic studies. Students in the online program have many opportunities for digital performance experiences, both inside and outside of the digital classroom. With an eye toward meeting the demands of today’s entertainment industry, the upper semester curriculum includes in-depth career preparation, industry networking skills, audition techniques, original content creation and digital production courses to prepare graduates for an exciting transition into the professional performing arts industry.
