The essay portion of the application allows us to learn more about you and your academic goals, while also giving us the chance to evaluate your written communication skills. Please completely fill out all fields below, forming your responses as complete sentences. Your essay responses will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Grammar, Spelling, and Punctuation. The responses follow conventions of the English language.
- Organization and Format. The responses effectively organize ideas, using paragraphs and transition words effectively.
- Language Use and Style. The responses contain effective and creative use of writing style and vocabulary to enhance communication.
- Content. The responses show a depth of perception, intelligence, and character.
