Hey everyone! I am a student with a 4.0 unweighted GPA currently, and I am trying to decide on colleges. I am trying to get recruited for cross-country skiing (I live in Alaska), and I want to major in atmospheric sciences. I am open to the northern Midwest, New England, and possibly Canada, but I do prefer the western US, and I also want snow.
Anyway, here is the list:
University of Alaska Fairbanks
University of Washington
University of Wyoming
University of Utah
University of Colorado
Any suggestions/critiques to the current list?
Thanks
This is a great list! But it really depends on if you would rather go to school near home or further away.
I would highly recommend The University of Utah, it's a safe application option because of their high acceptance rate, and the snow is outstanding. They don't call Utah the best snow on earth for no reason!
However, if you would rather stay close to home, then I would definitely consider University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Montana state (Bozeman) may be a good fit
